So kids, are you ready to face 2013 with me?
It's a big year. I turn 40. In like 5 weeks from tomorrow. Gulp.
2012 wasn't my greatest, I have to say. I weigh my heaviest ever, aside from 3 pregnancies. I'm not comfortable in my skin anymore. I don't like what I see when I look in the mirror. I hate that it's so damn easy for me to just slack off and not exercise and cram my face-hole with bad foods.
And the number? On the scale? %^$$*$#@^&*(
That is all changing.
My 2013 word is WILLPOWER. I have none. I need to get me some.
I'm doing the no-caffeine route (yet again). (I don't drink coffee or tea anyway. It's my Coke Zero addiction that I need to eliminate.) Also, no drinking alcohol on weeknights.
And I joined the gym. Now I have no excuse. I can run indoors on a treadmill.
Hubby is on board, as he is also back on the fitness wagon. We eat out way too much. We order fast food way too much. All that is changing, much to the boyz' chagrin.
I feel like I (and many others) say the same things every year. Ever been to a gym the first week after New Years? Packed. So I know I'm not alone.
It's just going to take WILLPOWER to stick with it, day by day, week by week, month by month...
