Alizé . When I was e-mailed to see if I would perhaps want to sample these, I responded with a "Sure!" (BECAUSE WHO TURNS DOWN FREE ALCOHOL?!)
From the press release: "Alizé liqueurs infuse premium French Vodka with luscious flavors from the world's most exotic region. From the jungles of Brazil, the lush hillsides of Chile and the tropical shores of pacific islands, come the nectars of our exotic fruits. Alizé is delicious on the rocks or served in martinis, cosmopolitans, margaritas and mimosas."
2 parts Alizé Gold Passion
2 parts Bacardi Limon
Splash of Canton Ginger Liqueur
Splash of Cranberry juice
Splash of Lime juice
Splash of Ginger ale
(I tried this without the Ginger Liqueur and the Bacardi and it was still YUM!)
1 part Alizé Red Passion
1 part red wine
Chill Alizé Red Passion and red wine. Just before serving add 1 part ginger ale. Serve in a wine glass and garnish with a slice of apple or orange.
(Who doesn't love a quick and easy and FUN sangria recipe? Of course I used my favorite Bully Hill wine with this one!)
1 ½ part Alizé Red Passion
1 part Alizé Gold Passion
1 part premium vodka
Top with lemonade and serve in a martini glass.
(If by "premium vodka" they mean cheap Absolut, then I'm all set for Vampire Kisses this weekend!)
(See how I have to catch a buzz all in the name of RESEARCH? I do it because I CARE, dammit.)
Disclosure: I was sent 2 bottles of Alizé for the purpose of this post. The opinions and slurred speech are mine, all mine.
