HodgePodge

I could reallllly get used to this Not Working gig...my week off has been wonderful!

What have I done?

Well, uh...umm...lemme see...

Monday, I went to Cambridge for drinks and apps and to see the advance screening of Motherhood with a friend.  We called it our "date night" minus the putting out at the end of the night.

Tuesday, I met 2 of my friends for some retail therapy at the outlets.  Got myself some new Nike sneakies that will hopefully put themselves on my feet automatically and FORCE me to exercise.

Wednesday, I did some reviews and giveaways on my other blog.  (Want to win the Snow White movie?  How about a Bill Engvall comedy CD?)

That afternoon, after my boyz got off the school bus, they were promptly ushered into clean clothes for picture-taking.  Not shockingly, within 5 minutes, all 3 of them were grass-stained.  Nonetheless, my friend, as usual, got some amazing shots!  And the best part?  My Christmas card pictures are done.

(Just one of many of Jodie's great shots that day.)

Yesterday I went psycho exercise-crazy and did a kickboxing class at 9 AND THEN left class to run 5 miles with a friend.  Yes, you read that right.

Today's agenda?  Fall Family Get Together at Baby's preschool at 10:30.  Laundry.  Cleaning.  And we are planning on having some friends over tonight after football practice.

I feel content.  Relaxed.  My house and my life (for the most part) are in order.  The boyz are doing well in school.  Football (the biggest time suck of them all) is winding down.  And I'm actually looking forward to starting my new job on Monday.

Things are as they should be.

Don't you just love it when you have time to get everything you need to done!? And even time with friends!

I worked part time for a while after I had my daughter and I really really miss it.

That's a great picture.

I need to do my Christmas cards soon - but my biggest hurdle is figuring out how I want to dress my girls!

Pictures with just 3 boys is always so much easier than pictures with 5! What a great picture she got! I am impressed with your exercise. I just moved and a looking for a place to go do just that! Best of luck on your job Monday! My boys didn't do football this year(little guys)-yes it is a huge time suck!

If all you got accomplished during a whole week had been getting the Christmas cards done,I'd think that was great! That is always a tough one for me.
