my husband HATES it when I dye my hair darker. I'm a natural blonde, but I went dark for the 2nd time since we've been together. Now every time I go to get it redone he asks if I'm dying it back to blonde yet. In fact, this very topic was the subject of my 1st ever blog post about a year ago :)

Well I'm smarter than all of ya and have managed to remain husband-less. That being said, when in relationships I do tend to lean toward my guy's preferences (inevitably long, even if I'll end up looking like a 70's throwback). But the difference is I know he won't be around forever, and then I can grow my hair how I want.

I change my hair all the time, but when we met, I had waist-length dark brown hair with like 399 different color streaks in it. I just don't have time to maintain that sort of style anymore, but he definitely misses it.

Although it is MY hair and I'll do what I want with it regardless, I take his opinion into account for sure. After all, he has to look at it more than I do...
