#LoveYourCereal with Kellogg's

Hi there!   This post today is brought to you by Kellogg's and The Motherhood, and I've been compensated for my time. However, all opinions are my own.

Cereal is definitely a staple in our Trenches.  And since our lives are crazy with work and sports, cereal has been known to make a double appearance some days...it's what's for breakfast AND dinner, kids!

Thankfully, that's not a bad thing.

Kellogg's knows it’s important to kick off your day with a fiber containing breakfast in order to help get the recommended amount throughout the day. That’s why they offer more ready-to-eat cereals that are a good source of fiber (3 grams!) than any other U.S. food company.

Kellogg’s Froot Loops, Apple Jacks and Mini-Wheats have between 3-6 grams of fiber per serving, making them a good source of fiber that kids love and don't even realize that they're eating.

Let's talk about children and their bellies.  Did you know that 9 out of 10 children do not get enough fiber in their diet?  And not to be gross, but  constipation is reportedly the cause for almost 5% of all pediatric outpatient visits.(*cough* BEEN THERE DONE THAT *cough*)

 Kellogg’s wants to let us know that there are tasty fiber options, like our kids’ favorite cereals, fruits and veggies to help get kids the fiber they need throughout the day.  Because, trust me, you do NOT want a constipated child, amirite?

So to learn more about tasty fiber and the benefits of Kellogg’s cereal visit LoveYourCereal.com.

And just for fun, I get to do a giveaway that your children will LOVE!  It's called a Love Your Cereal Kit and included in the kit are the following items:
  • 3 Boxes of Kellogg’s cereals (one box each of Frosted Mini-Wheats, Froot Loops and Apple Jacks);
  • a My Plate Game (a game that introduces and reinforces skills related to healthy living);
  • a Toucan Sam plush toy;
  • a Mini Wheats Soaking Cereal Bowl (pictured at top of blog post); and
  • a Tony the Tiger Spoon Set
To enter, simply leave me a comment on this blog post with your household's favorite cereal!  Here are Kellogg's rules for this reader giveaway:   http://loveyourcerealprogramofficialrules.com.

We love frosted mini wheats!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who often turns to cereal for dinner, too.

Cereal is a staple in our house too. I'd be interested to here about General Mills though, because that's what we stock up on.

Frosted Mini wheats are a family favorite, especially since they came out with the fruit flavored varieties.
