Moving On...

Well, I'm allowed to say now...

I'm glad it's over with.

Baseball season reached its conclusion on Sunday.  Unfortunately, the team didn't have a good run at Regionals in New Hampshire this year, losing their first two games and getting eliminated from the tournament.

Ever heard the phrase "familiarity breeds contempt"?  Yeah, I think that's what happened this season, after 3 full years with basically the same team.  I will just say that it's extremely hard and frustrating to be a coach's wife.  Feeling the hours spent away from the family.  Seeing the stress level.  Noticing the unappreciation.

And it's not the kids who are the problem.

Moving on.

Right into football season.
You'd think they could AT LEAST SMILE at the hundreds of dollars of equipment spent on them.

Hubby arrived home from Regionals yesterday.  Later that day, he was right back at it.  Coaching Eldest and Middle on the gridiron.

Think he needs a break?  Yup.

Thankfully, it's only 12 days until we head to our family's Happy Place.  Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  And this year?  We're FLYING (not driving 14 ungodly hours) there!
