I truly believe this, what Madeleine Albright so astutely proclaimed:
There is sisterhood all around us, wherever we look. Whether we bring in income for our family or don't. Whether we breastfeed or don't. Whether we co-sleep or don't. Whether we babywear or don't. There are others out there doing the same things and experiencing the same things. We.Are.Not.Alone.
Bottom line? We are all women. All doing the best we can in the situation we are in.
I'm not sure where the judgy judge judging stems from. So what if our neighbor feeds her kids McDonald's? What business is it of ours if that woman over there has had a boob job?
Why do we care?
This is where the Strong Moms Empower pledge comes in. All of us, pledging. Instead of judging.
Pledging to create more support and less "oh no she di'int."
Whether it's at work, online, or on our kids' sports sidelines.
Let's be strong, ladies.
Strong and supportive.
Please go to strongmomsempower.com and take the pledge yourself.
