Flatout Hungry Girl Foldit Flatbread

Flatout has recently partnered with Hungry Girl to launch their new Flatout Hungry Girl Foldit Flatbread (say THAT five times fast!) at Walgreens.  Thanks to The Motherhood, I was invited to help spread the word with a recipe project titled "Some Like It Hot, Some Like It Cold Sandwich Promotion".

First, I trekked to my local Walgreens in search of the flatbread, which I had never heard of before, but was keen on trying...especially because I've been getting sick of salad for lunch.  (And hey!  Lookit that decent price!)  Packed with fiber and low-cal (around 100 or less per slice), the flatouts are tasty and filling.

Some Like It Hot:

So, for this part of the promotion, I was tasked with creating a hot sandwich idea.  (Hot meaning temperature, not "hot" as in trendy/creative/happening.  Because I'm not any of those.)

Typically, we have "topsy turvy" night in the Trenches at least once a week.  Breakfast for dinner.  A perfect time to make a hot Flatout!

Scrambled eggs with lowfat cheese and turkey bacon

Ta-dah!  Delish.

Some Like It Cold:

I literally have 2.3 seconds in the morning to prepare my lunch for the day, so this part of the promotion was quick and easy.  See?

What you see is what I got:  Ham, cheese and yellow mustard.
Hi, I'm Sarah and have the palate of a 5 year old.

*Coming soon!  A $50 Walgreens gift card.  You know you want it!*

Disclosure:  I received a panini press and compensation as part of my participation in this campaign.  All thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own, as always.
