ANYWAY, more of the fun bedroom switcharoo/painting/decorating. Once we had moved Eldest down to his new basement room, it was time to move (the much impatient) Baby into Eldest's now vacant room. He couldn't wait! He wanted it done immediately! He asked every.single.minute when it would be HIS TURN for a new room! Yeah.
So this is what the bedroom looked like before:
And then THIS is the first thing Baby wanted to do in his NEW! ROOM!:
Why yes, that IS red paint. As a matter of fact, it's Benjamin Moore's "Neon Red", thankyouverymuch.
A red paint, which took my mom (bless her heart) and my husband 4 COATS OF PAINT ($$$$) until it looked good. Red paint, man. Don't do it. Ever.
But the end result is pretty darn cute:
Bunk beds!
Again with those damn Fatheads stickers.
Hmmm, I wonder who his favorite team is?
Well, we're ALMOST DONE! Only Middle's room left to go. Middle, who doesn't like change of any sort AT ALL. Middle, who didn't want to switch bedrooms. Middle, who wants the exact.same. paint color as the one that's in there now. (Yay! Only one coat of touch-up paint to do!)
His new double bed is being delivered next week. Pictures to come!

I had a red office (gray now, because it became baby H.'s room) and I think we had to do SIX coats before it looked decent. Even then, it wasn't quite right. Red paint. Not even once.
FANTASTIC!! I won't be visiting my boys' room anytime soon now. It's dismal in comparison!
