I was chosen by The Motherhood to collaborate on an oftentimes stressful subject - DINNER. Specifically, cooking dinner FOR and WITH children!
Chef Boyardee products are definitely a staple pantry item in my Trenches. With football season in full swing, I'm certainly not able to plan and lovingly prepare homecooked meals for the fam (heh) each and every night. Mini Ravioli, Spaghettios and Beefaroni more than satisfy my boyz before they head out the door to run, pass and tackle.
Some fellow bloggers and Chef Boyardee have given you some excellent ideas, recipes and tips--all in one place---this handy-dandy Little Chefs e-book! (And *cough cough*, if you look closely, Middle and I are featured on page 33!)
More great Chef recipes can also be found here as well. Eldest already has his eye on helping me make the Braided Spaghetti Loaf.
In November, I will also be participating in a live Cook-Along class to discuss Fun With Flavors!
But in the meantime, how about a giveaway?!

Chef Boyardee has been a staple in our house for years! The boys love it and "their cabinet" is always stocked with Mini Raviolis, Spaghetti, Cheeseburger Macaroni and Beefaroni. Every once in a while, they will try a different one but they usually stick with what they know...I've never created any recipes with these items so I can't identify a favorite. However, I would love some ideas, even if you just want to share some with me. Thank you, Mrs. Viz.
My kids' favorite recipe is anything that I'm cooking! They love to help me. Actually I should put "help" in quotations since sometimes they're more of a hindrance than a help. :) They would ADORE these giveaway goodies, though!

My daughter makes really good deviled eggs. Last weekend she took a brownie mix and added ingredients to make a nice caramel/coconut bar.
Thanks for the contest. Cooking with my little is so much fun for both of us!
Her favorite right now is pan seared green beans. Cook the beans in a pan in melted butter until soft. Then add crushed ritz crackers, they absorb some of the butter, add their own butter flavor. Mix together and serve. Super easy and got her to eat her green beans!

My now-4-year-old has been cooking with me from the time he could stand on a chair! He started with scooping flour and cracking eggs. Now he can use the mixer, make sandwiches, and cut up vegetables! I don't know if he has a favorite recipe, though if he did it would be oatmeal chocolate-chip cookies. But he's just happy to be in the kitchen with me, with his apron on, cooking away!
