Unapologetically Strong

What do the words "unapologetically strong" mean to you?

To me, it means standing up for what you believe.  Helping others.  Not worrying about how others perceive you.

As mothers, we are all required to be Unapologetically Strong.  To mother our children in the best way we know how.  To protect them.  To fight for them.  To go all Mama Bear when someone wrongs our brethren.

At the same time, being Unapologetically Strong, as a mother, means knowing when to take the time for YOU.  Realizing that YOU matter.  Realizing that YOU will be a better mother if you care for yourself as well.

Here is Degree Women® sportscaster Erin Andrews sharing her Unapologetically Strong story:

Degree Women® is holding an Unapologetically Strong Facebook contest!  Head over to share YOUR own unique and inspiring Unapologetically Strong story or goal.

You will be entered for a chance to win giveways from Degree Women® to help on your journey.  One winner (is it you??) will also have the opportunity to win the grand prize of $5,000 to spend on achieving their goal!

And speaking of Degree Women®, I was sent a sample of the Degree Women® Clinical Protection with motionSENSE™ in NEW Cotton Fresh scent to facilitate this post.  Because, let's face it.  We all sweat.  Whether it's playing soccer (heh), running, or simply juggling my home and work life,  I need a product that's going to (1) obvs mask the b.o. and (2) give me confidence that I don't STANK.

I am a woman.  I am a mother.  I am Unapologetically Strong.  Rawr.

This post was inspired by my participation in a program initiated by One2One Network.  All commentary and opinions are my own.
