Doing and Not Doing - Week 1's been a long and lazy summer.

And by lazy, I mean slothful.  And by slothful I mean not exercising.  And by not exercising I mean NOT AT ALL.

Also, eating.

Ohhhh, there's been eating.  There's been a LOT of eating.  And drinking.  That too.

With a new month ahead, and the new fall season approaching, it's definitely time to make some life changes.

I hate life changes, by the way.

But I'm sick of feeling this way.  Uncomfortable in my own skin.

So I'm starting small.  I always seem to set myself up for failure.  Making grand plans and then not following through.  It happens every.single.time.  See:  running, dieting, etc. etc. etc.

I want to do it differently.  I NEED to start feeling better.  I AM going to be successful this time.

I came up with this plan and am calling it "Doing and Not Doing".

Every week, I am going to give up one bad habit.  And in return, I am going to start adding a good habit.

Week 1:

Starting Saturday, September 1, I will NOT BE playing Solitaire Blitz on Facebook anymore.  It's wayyyy too much of a time suck. 

Starting Saturday, September 1, I WILL BE exercising for at least 30 minutes a day.  Every day that week.

My hope is, that by the time Week 2 rolls around, I will simply add another Doing/Not Doing to my repertoire, and will not quit with my Week 1 resolutions.

Anybody care to join me?

I will not drink soda for dinner.

I will add a glass of water to my day
