Just Dance Kids - Review and Giveaway!

We have certainly gotten our money's worth from our Nintendo Wii.  It's a family favorite.

(Although Hubby and I are both secretly bitter that all 3, yes, all 3, of our boyz can beat us at bowling.  And tennis.  Grrrrr...)

So when the Clever Girls contacted me to see if I wanted to review Ubisoft's Just Dance Kids, it was a no-brainer.  Bring it on!

We don't own Just Dance or Just Dance 2 in our Trenches, so this was our first introduction to a NON-SPORTISH game for the Wii.

(And if I have to break up yet another fight over a Madden 11 game, I may scream.  Loudly.)

When the package arrived in the mail, I introduced it with much fanfare.

Because, again, NON-SPORTISH.

I wasn't quite sure how it was gonna fly.

Eldest, age 9, shrugged disinterestedly and went back to watching hockey on TV.

Not a shocker there.

Yet Middle, age 6, seemed somewhat intrigued.

And Baby, age 5?  Was absolutely, totally gung-ho!

Just Dance Kids is geared to children of all ages.  From songs like the Alphabet Song to Happy Birthday, to Yo Gabba Gabba hits, preschoolers will be thrilled.  My elementary-school aged boyz were quite thrilled to see "Kung Fu Fighting" and a Justin Bieber hit (I have no clue what it was), along with the classics Surfin' USA and ABC ("Easy as 1-2-3").

The songs are sung by children.  The dancers are children.

It's actually wicked cute.

See for yourself.  Here's Baby in action (while Middle lays there like a slug):

Surfin' USA from Sarah Viz on Vimeo.

His tongue. It slays me.

And I may or may not have rocked out myself to "Macarena".  I'll never tell.

Wanna win your very own copy of Just Dance Kids?!

Simply leave a comment below and tell me your favorite song to boogie to.

Winner will be chosen at random on November 29th.  Good luck!

Oh, my boys would love this! We have Just Dance, but the kids' version would be better. My boys' fav song to dance to(inappropiate as it is) is "Who let the dogs out?"

Okay - that video is just adorable!!

I'll boogie to just about anything (and have!) ...Burke's favorite thing to boogie to for a while was "We've Got The Funk" TOTALLY cracked me up. I'm betting my kids would have a blast with this ... we dance all the time!!

I am sure my Princess would love this as she is a total party girl. Right now we boogie down to anything by Lady Gaga and of course any cheerleading mix.

My kids and I dance to everything! We sing along to Kidz Bop 18 (gag) and dance away. As luck would have it, Santa's bringing us a Wii this Christmas! (shhhhhh -- don't tell).

YMCA of course!! Seems like a BLAST! My neices and I already turn up the jams and "busta move" while we clean up our mess. They love it and with 2 of the 3 very overweight, its a nonjudgemental way to get them up and moving. Thanks for the review.

We love the Wii.

Our family's current favorite is KC and the Sunshine Band - Boogie Shoes. It was Pink's Raise a Glass until I mistakenly downloaded the explicit (non-radio) version onto my nano. Oops!

We just got Just Dance 2 this weekend and it's SO much fun! Kolby's favorite song is actually Elvis's Viva Las Vegas :)

We love our wii and I am constantly looking for new games that my 4 year old would enjoy. This seems like it might fit the bill!

Our favorite song at the moment in this house is Rock Your Body by the Black Eyed Peas. Too cute to see a 4 year old sing it and dance!
