We have certainly gotten our money's worth from our Nintendo Wii. It's a family favorite.
(Although Hubby and I are both secretly bitter that all 3, yes, all 3, of our boyz can beat us at bowling. And tennis. Grrrrr...)
So when the Clever Girls contacted me to see if I wanted to review Ubisoft's Just Dance Kids, it was a no-brainer. Bring it on!
We don't own Just Dance or Just Dance 2 in our Trenches, so this was our first introduction to a NON-SPORTISH game for the Wii.
(And if I have to break up yet another fight over a Madden 11 game, I may scream. Loudly.)
When the package arrived in the mail, I introduced it with much fanfare.
Because, again, NON-SPORTISH.
I wasn't quite sure how it was gonna fly.
Eldest, age 9, shrugged disinterestedly and went back to watching hockey on TV.
Not a shocker there.
Yet Middle, age 6, seemed somewhat intrigued.
And Baby, age 5? Was absolutely, totally gung-ho!
Just Dance Kids is geared to children of all ages. From songs like the Alphabet Song to Happy Birthday, to Yo Gabba Gabba hits, preschoolers will be thrilled. My elementary-school aged boyz were quite thrilled to see "Kung Fu Fighting" and a Justin Bieber hit (I have no clue what it was), along with the classics Surfin' USA and ABC ("Easy as 1-2-3").
The songs are sung by children. The dancers are children.
It's actually wicked cute.
See for yourself. Here's Baby in action (while Middle lays there like a slug):

His tongue. It slays me.
And I may or may not have rocked out myself to "Macarena". I'll never tell.
Just Dance Kids?!
Simply leave a comment below and tell me your favorite song to boogie to.
Winner will be chosen at random on November 29th. Good luck!
