OshKosh B'Gosh!

Yesterday, I was fortunate to attend a blogger event at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, MA for the grand opening of a new OshKosh store.

I mean, who hasn't dressed their child in their iconic overalls?  (I know I especially loved my boyz in the striped ones!)

As a mom of 3 boyz, I tend to stick with the basics when it comes to dressing my children.  Along with The Gap, Old Navy, Children's Place, Carters, Lands End and LLBean, OshKosh is one of the tried-and-true brands to whom I'm loyal.

And besides, how can you beat $6 long-sleeved shirts?!  And $12 jeans!

So if you are in the Boston area, the Grand Opening of the OshKosh store to the public will take place this Saturday, October 9 (tomorrow!) at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree. The grand opening event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities include:

· Denim Drive with Cradles to Crayons Charity: Donate gently-worn jeans or overalls of any size and receive a new pair of OshKosh B’gosh jeans for only $7
· Face Painting
· Kids can be stars on the “OshKosh B’gosh Blabber Cam” and receive a special prize
· Magic 106.7 will also broadcast live from the event and award one lucky shopper with a $250 shopping spree.

The best part for me though?

Once again having the chance to meet Boston-area bloggers in person!  It's always a treat to see Christina, and then I FINALLY got to meet all these other lovely New England area bloggers!

Disclosure:  I was given a $50 gift card upon my arrival (which I promptly spent on jeans and socks-am practical) and a $25 gift card (which I promptly gifted to my boss upon my arrival back at work because she supports my blogging and allows me to attend these kinds of events in the middle of a work day).  My preference for and high opinion of OshKosh dates back to when Eldest was born 9 years ago and was not swayed by this event.

Sounds like fun!

I'm a bit jealous. Maybe if I didn't live in the middle of nowhere, I could do cool blogging things, too.

Love Oshkosh.
