Cape Cod Vacationing Over the Years

2006 - Baby had just turned 1 and Middle was newly two.  Two children in diapers, two children in portacribs, two children requiring daily naps.  HUGE ASS double jog stroller.

2007 - Only one child in diapers and one portacrib.  Two children still requiring daily naps.  Still lugging the HUGE ASS double jog stroller.

2008 - No diapers!  Still one portacrib for Baby (age 3).  Unbelievably, two children who napped daily.  And STILL bringing the HUGE ASS double jog stroller for children to nap on the beach.

2009 - NO DIAPERS, NO PORTACRIBS, NO DAILY NAP SCHEDULE, AND FINALLY? NO HUGE ASS DOUBLE JOG STROLLER!

So to all you tired and frazzled Moms with multiple little ones...

I'm here to tell you that it DOES get easier.  I'm living proof.  Hang in there.  And before you know it, you will be demanding your children carry their own chairs and boogieboards to the beach.

Amen.

Cape Cod 2010, here we come!

Stopping by from SITS. I grew oup on Cape Cod. I loved it there. My grandparents lived right on the beach so visiting was always a treat. It was great to stop by and read this post.

So true! We can almost make it down in only one car. Okay, this may be more my issue than theirs. Have a great time!

I have 2 in diapers (22 months and 5 months) and a HUGE ASS double jogger. We're not taking a vacation this summer, but good to know it's possible. :) Thanks for this post. It was just what I needed today after a hot morning of toting everyone around. :)

I SO needed to hear this today! We leave for vacation next Tuesday with our 3-year-old, newly 2-year-old, and 1-month-old infant. 2 in diapers, 1 in portacrib, but leaving behind the double jog plus single jog strollers that we normally use for out and about traveling (with 2 parents of course)! Heaven help us! Thanks for the encouragement. Adorable family you've got there! Have fun!

Have a GREAT time - looks to be awesome weather for you! We're just back from our vacation, and I'm thrilled to know that next year, the Baby won't need most of the gear we took this year, cutting our load in half. Now if I can just get him to pack his own clothes, I'm home free!
