Well, It Was (Not) Fun While It Lasted...

Tuesday, April 20th was my first day being caffeine-free.  Thursday, May 6th was my last.

Falling off the wagon has never tasted better.

I have to be honest, I am happy that you fell off the wagon b/c a mom without caffeine is just unnatural.

Well that's pretty good. I hope you followed up the coke with a chocolate bar.

I agree (sip) unnatural! Off to Starbucks!

I wouldn't have lasted even that long!

Good job. We have been on an 18 day soda free challenge around here. We were at day 10 yesterday.... and I think I whimpered out loud.

I haven't had a soda since Feb. 17th. (How crazy is it that I know that exact date?) Needless to say, I am a wee bit jealous.

However, the downside to not drinking soda? My coffee and ice tea intake has increased significantly.

Too funny. I have an on again, off again battle with diet pop!

I did really well right after I had Mouse, but then I figured that I needed the Caffine to keep me awake. I've been doing horrible ever since then! I need to get back on the wagon! Proud of you for doing so well.

I don't blame you for falling off the wagon.

There is no way I could go without my diet soda.

I have been quit of diet coke for about a month now. No caffeinated beverage in the world can compete. I crave it just as bad as I did cigarettes.

My caffeine intake increased significantly with each kid. I don't think I could ever survive without it. I had enough trouble limiting my intake when I was pregnant.

That is longer than I ever could have lasted. I agree with the unnatural comment. Moms NEED caffeine, wine, and chocolate just to survive. Enjoy your long lost friend! :)

Good fun for you, Mama!

Your picture is motivating me to get my ass off the couch and make some coffee! Thanks!

So funny...I have not had a soda in 8 days. I am trying to see how long I can go. I think the bubbles make me want carbs yet I have not lost any weight yet :-(

Wow, 16 whole days!! You rock!! I wouldn't have lasted 16 hours.

I went months without caffeine. It's overrated. I am addicted to Diet Dr Pepper, and if that's my worst vice, I'm doing ok. Drink up!

Oh...Diet Coke is my vice. I was so inspired by you giving it up...considered doing the same. But never got past the considering stage.

Sigh, I miss caffeine...

I was never much of a soda drinker, but coffee was my drug. I stopped drinking it when I found out I was pregnant. However, now I do treat myself to soda every once in a while. Cherry Coke = happy juice.

all good things must come to an end, right? LOL ;) I am not a soda drinker but I do loooove me some coffee. Mmm... going to go fill up my cup now.

Happy Mother's Day to you Sarah!
