Cha Cha Cha

So yes, yesterday was my 37th birthday.  Monday birthdays kinda blow, for it was back to the grind and back to the routine (especially after the high of Blissdom).  I honestly woke up and had no recollection that it even was my birthday until I checked my e-mail and saw all the Facebook wishes.

But my boyz made it special.  I got a new Willow Tree figurine.  We went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner.  We had yummy chocolate mousse cake.

And the homemade cards!  What mother doesn't love hand-crafted artwork from her children?
Here is 8 year old Eldest's.  Not sure what the lightning bolts have to do with me, but hey, I'll roll with it. And apparently he's practicing his text-speak with the "u" instead of "you".  OMG.
And here we have 5-1/2 year old Middle's with his honest sentiment of  "I hope you have awesome presents."

And then, there was 4-1/2 year old Baby's card for me:

(Yes, I am as baffled as you.)

I love that you got a Willow Tree figurine. My sister loves and collects those, too. Such beautiful pieces!

Happy Birthday. And come on, what birthday is complete without dinner at Outback? It's either that or Bugaboo in our house. Something for everyone (but Outback doesn't have the moose head so you were better off!).

Cheers! I will drink to you tonight...I mean think of you...oh who am I kidding. Reason for wine! LOL.

Well, Happy Birthday! Sounds like you made the best of a Monday birthday.

Btw, I just noticed on your sidebar that you'll be speaking at the SITS Boot Camp in Baltimore! How cool is that? congrats. I'm really hoping SITS comes to Boston at some point. I'd really love to go.

Happy belated b-day! One of my best friends who lives in FL has the same b-day. Sweet cards--those are the best.

Belated Happy Birthday! I'm here from SITS and saw that you're in Massachusetts too! So much for the storm that wasn't. I'm actually glad we missed most of it. : )
