Signs of Autumn in the Trenches

Halloween bear perched upon the fireplace mantle...

Mini pumpkin nestled in table centerpiece...

Pumpkins gathered 'round the mum, while a scarecrow keeps guard in the distance...

A festive wreath welcomes guests...

Our very own picturesque New England view...

Shivering, yet stubborn, 8-year old who refuses to wear anything heavier than a hoodie, waiting for school bus in leaf-strewn driveway...

While a light coating of frost blankets the ground.

Too cold, too soon for my taste. I sent the boys in gloves and hats today!

It is looking falltastic in the trenches!

Man you beat me to the punch. I took a bunch of pictures today to just this kind of post.

I'm doing it anyways, but I'm just letting you know I'm not copying!

BTW, your view is beautiful. I've always wanted to live in NE.

That view is beautiful. Here in Wisconsin it is beautiful too, but all flat land.

These are great! I wish I could see it all. Out here, we don't really get to "do" fall like you.

I'm so jealous of your beautiful fall, I woke up to a fresh blanket of snow!

What is the deal with kids and coats? Why is it "uncool" to be warm once you hit a certain age? I'm so jealous that you have decorated for fall. I think I might just skip Halloween and go ahead and put out the Christmas decor...

I love your decorations! We had fall briefly last week, but now it's back to 90 degree temps. Fun!

Fall is definitely here... even in Charleston. I can't get over how cool it's gotten over the past few days!

I love all of your decorations, and that view is amazing! It sort of reminds me of when we lived up north in PA and NH.

Since you've lived in the Charleston area before, are there any places you'd recommend for us to visit? :) This past weekend we did a walk through part of downtown, which is absolutely gorgeous.

I live in New England, too and there is nothing I like better than fall. Great photos.

This totally makes me want to move to New England.

Your driveway is the best driveway in the history of the world.

Like, seriously.

We just got our first touch of fall weather. A hoodie would actually be more than enough to keep us warm! I think I envy you (at least today). Thanks for stopping by to celebrate my FB SiTS day!

What is up with those boys and hoodies:)

Everyday I have this battle with my boys.

When there is snow out there, they are going to be hurting in that hoodie!
