Wow.
In honor of such a momentous occasion (*snort*), I'd like to share with you a few tidbits about what I've learned from blogging the past 3 years:
1. That you actually do become friends with the people inside your computer. And it's not the least bit strange. Or creepy. Or weird.
2. Yet, the blogosphere is as cliquey as high school. It's a fact.
3. That when you write on a regular basis, everything that happens in your life begets the question, "How can I blog about this?" And it excites you.
4. That keeping a blog is a great way to keep track of those childhood illnesses and infections. If I need to know when Baby's last ear infection was? I simply search my archives.
5. Furthermore, that a blog is also useful for documenting momentous "firsts" - first time riding a bike, first days of school, first visit from the tooth fairy, etc.
6. That sometimes
7. Yet at other times,
8. That maintaining a blog allows one to have
9. That your writing skills improve the longer you keep at it.
10. And finally, that I hope to continue documenting my life here In the Trenches of Mommyhood for many years to come!
Thanks for reading! Truly.

I've only been blogging for just over a year, and several of your points I already see. I look at our daily life as, okay... how can I blog about this. I also see how you could easily become friends with the people "inside" your computer. It's also a major outlet for me, and a way to stay focused, if that makes any sense at all.
I hope that you stick around also, I enjoy your blog!
I haven't read from the very beginning and came to your blog off a link from a favorite blog that is no longer "Suburban Cupcake," and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'm 35, single, never been married, not even close to dating anyone right now let alone even getting married, and I haven't been scared off from having children, etc. at all. Though it does help I also spend a lot of time with my 2-year-old niece. I just thought I'd share. I just love your wrting and your stories.
Happy Blogibirthday! Wishing you many more years of finding the right words at the right time :)
xo,

I just found your blog and I love it! Happy Three Years and I hope you have many more! I have been blogging for only 1 month but your right, I have made friends already..I don't think it's strange at all, but my family does!
I agree with all these!
Especially the cliqueish part and the hubby getting upset about it sometime.
So glad you've kept with it and that I found your blog over a year ago.

Happy 3 Years!
I have noticed the same things about my blog and my life. I have been at it 2 years now, with no plans on stopping, even if all the readers dry up.
Happy Blogoversary!! I love your blog & your writing, you always have me laughing! Definitely one of my favorite blogs=)
Happy Blogaversary!
Happy Blogaversary!
LOVE reading!
Yay! Happy 3 years blogging! Can't wait to read the next!
Happy Anniversary!
You are an old-timer :)
Happy blogaversary!
The joke amongst my friends is, "Oh, no I see a blog coming on."
My most recent post was born out of an almost dare. I was signing up for something and I had to claim my blog by using a phrase they gave me. I was free to delete the post after I claimed my blog, but the phrase was just too good - "Did you know, monkeys have 12 hairs at any one time?" I really felt dared to turn that into a viable post. I could hardly write fast enough :)
Stopping by from SITS! It is awesome how ya make so many friends out there in the bloggy world. And people who don't blog just don't get it, ya know?:) I was thinking about that the other night....I can't imagine not blogging now.
As I was reading I was going "yep yep yep!" The other day I went to grab my camera to capture a moment and all the while I was thinking "How can I blog about this?" (I have a personal blog I do as well as AYTMIMG) All these are SO true and thank you Helene once again for making me laugh....and feel normal! LOL!
Happy bloggiversary, girl! Congrats!!!!
PS-Dont know where I got Helene, ignore me please! I too had a mind once....haha!
Congrats on 3 years! :)
Congrats on your 3rd year of blogging, well done.
Wow, what's three years in bloggy land? Like, 80? That's impressive!! :)
Happy Blogoversary! You are one of the first bloggers I met IRL (remember apple picking?!) and I thought of you as an 'long time' blogger---lol, I started one month after you!
Happy Blogoversary and Congratulations! I'm pretty new to blogging, but from what I understand most bloggers don't stick with it for very long. So you should be very proud of yourself. Good for you!
3 years! That's wonderful! Congrats!
Congratulations! Three years! Whew!
Thank goodness that you are writing. I can't tell you the number of times my sister and I have talked about your blog - generally discussing the most recent childhood illness....
Congrats on 3 years!! And good advice/list for those of us who are still newer to the blogging world.
1a. Your IRL friends do not understand how you can be friends with the people in your computer.
Happy Blogiversary, friend!
Happy Blogiversary!! I love the friends inside my computer - I feel closer to many of them than I do my real friends! I've only been blogging for 3 months and I can already relate to many of your points. Here's to the next 3 years!
LBM x
Congratulations, you blog-gramma!! I can relate to most of your points (still working on making blog-friends so luckily don't know about the cliques...but can't wait!) and don't have kids or a hubby (Thank you Jesus) but LOVE writing for all sorts of unforseen reasons.
Congrats! As a relative newbie, I can already appreciate much of your wisdom, and I anticipate the rest becoming clear as the posting continues!
Congrats on the blogiversary! Blogging rocks, I'm so glad I started.
