(Apparently, I'm not the only one here who's a titch cranky about this 2009 Summer That Wasn't, while others are a bit more creative.)
(Personally? I just prefer to bitch and moan in melodramatic fashion, thankyouverymuch.)

I feel you. I live in VT and all this rain sucks!! We are going stir crazy here!!
Sorry to rain on your parade (hahaha, oh, the hilarity! I don't understand why I don't have more followers...) but it's 28 and sunny here, that's 82 to you yanks. And I? Am sitting in here blogging and watching Wimbledon - oh, the injustice!
Gah that sucks!
We've seen a few thunderstorms here but not enough to keep us inside. Sorry, not trying to rub it in or anything.
Seriously, this is a joke. We're in your rainy neck of the woods for two weeks looking at the sunny 80 degree weather back home.
I saw on the news yesterday that the reason we have been in this rain pattern has something to do with volcanic ash in the atmosphere and the jet stream got all messed up by it. At least that's what channel 7 weather guys said. Whatever. It's still raining.
Sorry, I guess I won't complain about no rain in 4 months here in SoCal. Hey, maybe we could trade??
AMEN!
My kids were just singing their own version of the song this morning.
We're in the middle of a thunderstorm right now. Joy.
I am trying to do a rain dance to move the rain down here. It has not rained in Atlanta in two weeks. We got lots in May and now--dry as a bone but humid as a b*tch!!
I've been working on a haiku to properly express my FURY at all this rain! If I have to pay for one more indoor playspace, I'm going. to. scream!
I am feeling your pain. What the freaking freak????
Who you calling cranky, bitch?
:)
xoxo
Ha, it has been pretty rainy here also!
uhm can you blow it our way?
pretty please!
We are in a MAJOR drought here - Stage III water restrictions, which means we get to water once every 14 days, and only before 10 a.m. or after 8 p.m. Doing wonders for my garden. It hasn't rained here since the beginning of MAY. We have a spring-fed water system, and our springs are just about dried up. We have no idea what will happen then.
So, blow that rain to Texas. Pretty please.
And the best thing about all the rain is that it brings out MAJOR MOSQUITOS in August. Nice!
Boys look like they're playing poker with their DS games.
Hope you dry out soon.
(Sounds like you're a drunk.)
I hear you. It's been drizzling nonstop here all weekend. I'm ready for some sunshine!
Seriousl! I'm all "So summer never came, whatever, bring on fall."
