Catching Up

The Hair: I've basically just given up. Of course, when I tried to do it myself the day after I had it "fixed", it looked like doo-doo. (Isn't that always the case?) You need octopus arms to be able to style your own hair, I swear. So...yeah. It looks like crap.

The Lyme: Middle has been on antibiotics 3x a day for 2 weeks now. And has another week to go. Around the 4th day, he started perking up and acting more like himself. I actually am unable to read about what happens when lyme disease goes untreated. It scares me. Because that could have been us.

The Running: Has been going okay. This weekend was a wash though. I truly attempted a long run yesterday, evensofar as informing Hubby that I wouldn't be back for "at least an hour." Well, you know how everything has to to be perfect to get in a good run? MY SHORTS WERE RIDING UP. CONSTANTLY. So I only lasted 12 minutes and then I walked for another 50. Angrily.

The Giveaway: Win a Mrs. Myer's Spring Cleaning Kit off my review blog.

The Clarification: Hubby wanted me to let everyone know that he didn't teach the boyz the peace sign because hello? HE'S NOT A HIPPIE, YOU KNOW. It's a "V". For our last name. So apparently we have our own gang signs in the Trenches. Holla.

The Friend: My BFF in Orlando started her own website. (Clicking the link will make you put down that bag of chips, I swear.) (For the record, her body has not been ravaged by pregnancy and childbirth.) (Obvs.) (That's how I make myself feel better, anyway.) (Damn kids.)

I am with you on the hair! Looks so different when it is dried by a stylist. I rock the ponytail everyday these days--it is healthier not to blowdry every day, right?!

My sister has a BFF like that - makes me want to put down the chips every time I think of her coming to visit - so far, not working.... I will have to read about the lyme disease post when I have time - I can't believe I missed it - We had to pull a tick out of the baby a few weeks ago - scares the crap right out of ya!

I clicked the link and came right back. My self-esteem can't handle such a sight right now.

Totally know what you mean about the hair.

That's why when I win the lottery, I'm going to have an on-call hair stylist... one who will be available whenever I need her...

Wow! I somehow missed that middle has lyme disease! I'm so glad you caught it and he's being treated. A few weeks ago when I was having all those crazy health issues, my doctor tested me for it {among a million other things} and she said they've been having 3 cases a week of it this summer {and we live in a SMALL town}. Scary!

I don't think I could be friends with her. Drop her. Seriously, who needs that pressure?! Just kidding, I want her to be my BFF and train me.
