The Joy of...Cleaning? Yep. A Green Cleaning Giveaway! *Updated With Winners*

Congrats to Lynette3boys and Snowberry Creek! Their comments were chosen by random.org as the winners.

So...

My neighbor is the The Cleaning Coach. How's that for pressure?

Because my Trenches? Notsomuch CLEAN. More like, uh, surface clean. Ish. *sigh*

But! Leslie and I have partnered up and want to offer you, my readers, a great chance to win some of her awesome green cleaning products. And what kind of blogger would I be if I didn't check them out for you first?!

So Leslie gave me a copy of her book, The Joy of Sex Green Cleaning.

Did you know that most regular cleaning can be done without any toxic chemicals? Baking soda, vinegar, sea salt, lemon juice, and hydrogen peroxide can be used in place of most grocery store cleaners! MUCH cheaper on your wallet, and WAY less harmful to your body.

Leslie's book contains recipes for cleaners we can use every day in our kitchens, in our bathrooms, on our floors, in our laundry and on our furniture using simple products that most of us already have in our pantries.

And along with the book, she also gave me a Green Cleaning Starter Pack that includes her famous blue cloth (cleans windows with no windex and no paper towels!), a green microfiber cloth (it dusts, cleans and polishes!), and an Xtreme Sponge (just like Mr. Clean but without the chemicals).

(Check out Leslie on the Boston news!)

At the risk of sounding (even more) infomercial-y, here is what happened when I tackled my dining room table after the boyz dyed Easter eggs:

Stained! Possibly ruined?

Vigorously using the Xtreme sponge. Dorkiness not included.

Tah-dah! Good as new.

And FYI? I have used the microfiber cloth to clean up puke off the carpet. And the sponge also wipes off rust stains. And the blue cloth cleaned all the window in my sunroom. With just water! And no streaking!

Want to win? Leslie is generously allowing me to give away her book and a grean cleaning starter pack (both pictured above) to TWO WINNERS!

Here's what ya need to do:

1. Go to Leslie's site and become a Google Follower (bottom right hand sidebar).

2. Come here and leave me a comment that you've done so.

3. For an additional entry, sign up for The Cleaning Coach's Green Cleaning Tips (top right hand sidebar).

4. Come back here and leave me another comment that you've done this.

5. And for a THIRD entry, follow Leslie on Twitter!

6. And come back here and leave me a comment that you've done this.

Two winners will be chosen at random on Wednesday, May 20th. Good luck!

The products sound too good NOT to enter. I never win anything, but hey, it's worth a try. I'm not as green as I'd like to be and my cleaning shelf is packed to the gills with toxic chemicals.

So, I am following Leslie's blog.
