BOY, n.: a noise with dirt on it.

Boys are found everywhere -- on top of, underneath, inside of, climbing on, swinging from, running around or jumping to...A boy is Truth with dirt on its face, Beauty with a cut on its finger, Wisdom with bubble gum in its hair and the Hope of the future with a frog in its pocket.

So true. I just wrote a post like this about my boys and one of my commentors told me about the boy noun thing.

I concur.

This is absolutely the best description of "boy" I will ever read!

Oh, yes. But boy is definitely a verb as well. They are never, ever still.

We've definitely moved to baths every night. No more skipping. And the tub water is beige.

aww, I love boys and you sure have some cute ones! With this nice weather, mine have been dirt from head to toe the past few days too!

That quote also describes my rough and tumble daughter. Wonder what that says about her.
