You've Got a Friend

Here's to college buds who live and work in Germany who take the time to visit your Trenches.

Here's to familiarity and to not feeling like you have to vacuum or even wear makeup when your friend arrives.

Here's to her understanding that you can't really entertain because you're concerned about your sick child.

Here's to a spontaneous sleep-over.

Here's to healing misunderstandings and reminiscing about those crazy college years.

Here's to a guest who don't mind watching your children while you take your Eldest to the doctor, yet again.

Here's to those who knew you before you even figured out who you were.

Here's to the comfort and ease of true friends.

Thanks, Amy.

Awww, isn't it awesome to have a friend like this? My friend like this only lives 2 hours away but still I don't see her enough...There is nothing better than feeling comfortable enough to rummage through someone else's refrigerator and know they won't care one bit...

Is the Eldest better??

That's a great friendship. Every woman needs a friend you don't have to clean for. :)

I've just trying to catch up on my rounds and I've missed a lot. I didn't know you were on vacation again. But the pictures were AWESOME. I didn't vote for you. :( I didn't wish your son well. But unfortunately that I can still do.

Hurray, for good, old friends. There is nothing like them. I hope eldest recovers quickly.
