When Ya Gotta Go, Ya Gotta Go

Don't you think all kids probably pee in the tub/pool/lake/ocean?

Yeah, well, not mine. I can say this with certainty.

How?

Because when we were in Myrtle Beach, they each must have said these 3 words at least a bajillion times (that would be higher than a million, but less than a zillion):

"I hafta pee."

At first, I was all gung-ho Good Mommy, schlepping them far and wide to the proper facilities. (It seemed Hubby was either golfing/playing ball/in the pool/in the ocean/not around whenever these urinary emergencies occurred. Hmmmmmm...)

And then after less than a day of multiple schleppaging by mid-week?

Momma was dee you en DUN being proper.

Middle was quite diligent in his quest to "water" all the foliage in the vicinity.

Check out my mad action photog skillz--capturing the urine midstream!

Of course, Baby had no shame whatsoever.

My kids, too, look for opportunities to "water" the grass, sidewalk, dog, etc.

I don't think I've ever seen a midstream urine shot like that! I think you should make those photos into a collage for your Christmas cards this year! :)

Ha! Great pics. They'll love you for that in 10 years. It's actually nice that boys can just pee so easily. I remember with my daughter having to find a facility every time. Ugh. (She'd have burst before she'd drop drawers outside.)

That is hilarious! Good thing you have 3 boys! We let my son pee on the rocks outside our house one time and now he asks to pee there all the time!

OMG! This is totally going to scar them in the future!! On second thought....maybe not. NI-CE. You gotta do what you gotta do. Honestly, when it comes to times like this, is the ONLY time that I have p-n-i-s envy.

Oh my goodness you put their dingalings on the internet. They are totally going to get you for this when they are older. :)

Of course I am always having to tell Ben to "put his p3nis away already" What is it with boys and exposing themselves?

I'm so glad we're not the only ones. They ALWAYS pee in the rocks when we're in our own pool. What's embarassing, though, is that they don't realize that it's just for at home. We went to a friends house and my 3yo just whipped it out and started peeing in their yard while everyone in the pool just watched. I was DYING!

I also capture it on film!

Oh, and I'm the REALLY bad mom that tells them it's ok to pee in the ocean. No other body of water, but the ocean, I mean c'mon that's got all sorts of stuff in it. I think it'll be ok w/ a little bit of kid pee.

WooHoo - another reason to be excited that I am going to wind up having only boys :)

My husband could join your family! I'm constantly saying, "Didn't you go before we left the house!?" And he has no shame, either.

I want sons so badly. :( If a girl did that it'd just be tacky. LOL

My E. loves peeing outside. Trouble is, she's a girl. Messy.

Oh, to have boys. I spend a lot of time in public restrooms with my girlies. We did have one emergency years ago with our first when the great outdoors was our only option. For weeks afterward, my DD insisted that it was okay then, why not now? It's a slippery slope! :)

Totally impressed with the shot, too. Niiiice.

LOL!! Save these for the future girlfriends! Too cute!

I was going to say the same thing as rae, but I'd like to add that we now have a strict no drinking in the car policy after the "pee cup" debacle of summer 2007. We are still trying to get through my son's head that peeing like a long-haul trucker is not acceptable behavior.

I thought this peeing outside thing was 'all good' But, last week, I caught my 3 year old pooping in our back yard. Yeah... not-so-good.
