What I Did In NY--By Eldest

In NY, I wiggled my loose tooth...

And then Mommy helped me pull it out! The tooth fairy FORGOT to come that Friday night, but my dad called her, and she came the next night. She must have been confused because I wasn't home in Massachusetts.

I played LOTS of baseball...

And worked up a big thirst! (And tired out my Dad and Poppa BIG TIME.)

And I watched the Yankees with Uncle D. I told Dad that when I'm in NY, I'm a Yankees fan, but Dad always gets mad and tells me I CAN'T like both the Red Sox AND Yankees. Uncle D thinks it's funny when Dad gets mad like that.

Now I'm *really* laughing - our youngest pulled out a tooth on the way home from our trip this weekend, too! That Albany highway karma must be very strong...

Uh. Oh. You guys have one up on us now. We've been wiggling since the last one, but you're a much braver mom than I am. That sucker is going to have to fall out.

I think it's a law; you can't like both the Yankees and the Sox. But it only applies to grownups.

Gosh, that toothfairy must be getting old and forgetful ;)
Glad she remembered to come the next night!

Tell Eldest that he can watch the Yankees only if he is wearing a Red Sox shirt. If the Sox are playing the Yankees, he has to root for the Sox.
It's some kind of Massachusetts rule.

What great recaps of the boys' adventures. I especially love the age old Yankee/Red Sox debate. My family is split Yankees & Red Sox. Makes for great teasing!!
