congrats!! We are about to go through that as well....we have our first two loose ones. J-flipped out when he realized that he had a loose one and cried/threw a temper that lasted over half an hour. By the time he settled down, he was wondering if the tooth fairy would leave him 50 bucks so he could buy a new game for the Wii. hmmmmm. Tooth Fairy doesn't take play like that at our house!

Holy cow, I tuned in from Bloglines to read about make-overs and I find the toothfairy has been taking an advance on her payments?! Ouch! Hope everything feels better in the morning!

I CANNOT believe it... we lost the same exact first tooth at 6:15 last night. I was about to do my tooth fairy post, but got distracted by my reader. Congratulations!!! I want to know how much the tooth fairy brought him though.

Poor thing, Did you see his tear? I totally think he should get a whole dollar for that one! Having been ripped out by mean old dad and all.

I love the note! Hope the tooth fairy isn't having to cut back the rewards now that we're in a recession!

Ouch. What is the going rate for the tooth fairy? I remember getting a quarter or 50 cents bsck in the day.

Aw, man! Poor guy! Did the tooth fairy at least remember to come. (She forgets at our house, sometimes...)

OMG! "Dad ripped it out!" Nice! You have proof too! Did he tie him to the bumper and drive away? Member what our parents used to say? Happy first tooth!!!

Update***Jake pulled it out this morning all by himself and woke me up with it in his hand right in front of my face. I'll do a post tomorrow! :)

That is not a happy face but I'm sure after he sees what the fairy leaves, that will change.

That note is hilarious! I have one of my husband's from when he was six. His tooth came out while eating at school and he swallowed it. The note said something like, "Dear Tooth Fairy, I lost my tooth at school. But you can still leave money. Just put it under my pillow."
