God It Looks Like Daniel, Must Be the Clouds In My Eyes

My Youngest Bro is currently employed in Buffalo as a sales manager at a rent-to-own store. We like to joke around and ask him how his job at Smar-Tech is going. (Quick! Name the movie!)

Today he is in the city with me. Because Big Sis Sarah got him a meeting with the Boston Celtics! He just got his degree in sports management and wants to get in the door with a professional sports team. And he has 2 sisters who happen to live near(ish) Boston, so why not? (Although I think my NY Yankee Fan(atic) father would disown him if he ever managed to get a job with the Sox.) Anyway, I happen to work with a woman whose son is in management with the Celtics and kindly agreed to meet with him.

So he'll be in the Trenches all weekend. Fun for the boyz to see their Uncle D. And fun for Hubby to have someone to sit with down in Mantown (you know, basement, leather recliner, mini fridge, big TV--all he would need is a catheter to be completely self-sufficient down there) after the boyz' bedtime when it officially becomes "Quarter Past Jack" to watch sports.

And SO fun for me to think about "what if he actually gets a job here and has to live with us until he can afford a place on his own..."

Gulp.

Hey! My brother's name is Daniel, too! Sarah and Daniel...was that a popular pairing in the seventies?

How can you possibly be old enough to remember that song?
And if your bro gets the job, he will owe you Big Time.

Go Sox!!

I'm so jealous. I've been thinking for two days about how much I miss my little bro. Then you have to go and rub it in... No fair.

I live in San Francisco now, but I grew up in Winthrop (next to Revere, across from the aihpoht). Whereabouts are you?

My little sister lived with us for awhile while she got her degree. It was actually kind of cool - - built in babysitter.

PS I have an award for you at my place, when you get a sec go and grab it.

That part of the catheter is funny! Sounds like you're having a great time.
