Extreme Makeover(s)-Trenches Edition

HUBBY BEFORE
HUBBY AFTER
SARAH BEFORE
SARAH AFTER

Hubby randomly shaved off his goatee on Monday night--after having it for over 2 years (he grew it right before Baby was born so he would look cool in the birth pictures, which he swears was not the case. But I know better.) Anyway, I had been tirelessly harping at him to puh-leeze get rid of it...to no avail.

He came downstairs a new, much younger looking man! Of course, he hates it and stresses that it's coming right back. I was curious as to whether small woodland creatures flew out of it as he was shaving it off--it was that thick.

And I, I did my once-a-year hair transformation (ok, Hubby, so it was slightly less than a year.) My stylist dyed me back to my natural color (a fetching shade of dishwater brown) to get rid of the roots and the grays (oh, the grays), then did foils in a caramel color, then a toner. 3 hours later and $200 poorer and I was good to go (work full-time in Boston).

Yeah, somebody please stop us. We're such boatloads of style and excitement 'round these parts....

You guys look fabulous!! Your hubby is so handsome and that goatee was totally covering it up! I actually like your hair in both photos but I agree the "After" is more professional. You're gonnna knock them off their feet! I see some awesome holiday photos in your future.

You guys look great! Whenever my husband grows his beard out I cross my fingers that he will shave it soon... it's so prickly against my face!

Your turtleneck looks sooooo cozy, by the way!

Whoo.. Sexy sexy. Better watch out with all that sexiness around your house, you'll end up with baby #4.

You look gorgeous! Your hubby actually looks like he lost 10 pounds! (If you tell him that maybe he won't grow the GOATee back). I hate those goatees. Anyhow, good luck at the new job on Monday. By the way, I think that this is my fist comment although I think that I have been a lurker for a bit.

As he is the future father-in-law of my three Red Sox loving girls, I feel entitled to tell him that he looks so much better without the goatee. Seriously.

And you are always too cute for words!

Fabulous!! Although I must say you looked good au naturale, too. Tell hubby he's much younger looking without the goatee.

You both look great!

Is the background in your "after" photo the back wall of your house? Those windows are amazing!

I LOVE It!!!! You look great. I think you looked great in your before, but I love the after. :)

Your hubby looks quite handsome too. I'm ready for my hubby to lose his goatee, but I don't see it happening any time soon. sigh.
