He is good at lots of things.
He is very good at baseball.

And now football.

Eldest has two little brothers named Middle and Baby. They're always copying.

On summer vacation, Eldest likes to go to the beach at Cape Cod.

This summer, he wasn't even scared to to jump off the sand dunes.
He got pretty good.

On special occasions, Eldest likes to go to Fenway Park to cheer on the Red Sox.

Eldest started kindergarten this year. Sometimes, Eldest forgets that markers only go on paper.
Time out.
After a nice bath,

and a nice

it's time for bed.
When they've finished reading Strega Nona for the thousandth time, Eldest's mother gives him a kiss and says, "You know, I really can't believe that you're already 6 years old! Where did the time go? You're sensitive, impatient, smart, cautious, calm and finicky. I love you very much, my 6 year old big boy.

And Eldest gives her a kiss back and says, "Yeah, but when can I open my presents?"
Totally copied from the book Olivia by Ian Falconer.
(I wrote this entry last year on Eldest's birthday.)
