Anatomy of a Temper Tantrum

1. Dramatically throw body on floor when you are not allowed to play with Daddy's cell phone.
2. Proceed to hide under dining room table and cry.
3. Bang head repeatedly on floor, using blankie as a cushion.
4. Look at Momma with a "Will you get that camera outta my face?" glare and have a suck-suck.

Ummm....Wow! Reading this post was like watching my daily life put into words! Zander does the EXACT same thing...blankie and all! Hilarious!

It's only cute when it's not one of your own, eh? Baby is adorable.

Super cute :) I'm sure you didn't think the screaming and crying was, none of us do!

I revel in every documented case of another person's child(ren) having a tantrum. Sometimes it feels as if no one else has to endure the forehead vein popping explosions that we do.

Clearly, we don't have enough tantrums at my house.

I think I'll start.

I suppose all children "have their moments". It's also nice to know I'm not alone. Thank God kids are sooo cute!

I have two photos, one of each of my boys, in mid-tantrum. In one case the camera defused the situation. In the other it made things worse.

Those photos of yours are keepers.

BTW, thank you for the Perfect Post nod!

Oh I know this dance well. MUCH too well. Where's the hitting? It's not a proper tantrum without some hits..

It might have been a tantrum but a cute little guy doing it with his mommy taking pictures makes it's less effective - right?

The nice thing is that boys seem to get over their tantrums much quicker than girls. At least in my house. He's a cutie! Couldn't you just eat him with a spoon?

Oh this is great! This weekend I took two pictures of my son post-tantrum mope stage. They rank high in my all time favorite pictures of him, and it made him stop moping. Double bonus. Your little guy is adorable, even though I'm sure you didn't think so at the time.
